Quintin is definitely a book lover. He begs us to read books to him all the time.

Chris and I recently had to fly to Florida for a board meeting for The New Beginnings. We had a very nice and relaxing weekend.

The kids recently got to climb aboard and explore a brand new ambulance at Uncle Karl and Aunt Angie's house.

Family fun:

These 2 got to celebrate a birthday!

They got a surprise trip to Great Wolf Lodge, which we will visit later this week.

Over the Past Few Weeks...

Now that Shana goes to college, Quintin thinks it's great fun to meet her for lunch sometimes...

Especially when she goes shopping with us between classes and buys her baby brother one of his very favorite things ever:

Mr. Q also loves to keep track of the progress on Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw's new house:

 Zoo day:

Baby cousins Tianna and Tayla got to come for a visit:

God's handiwork:

Quinntin loves to watch for the bus in the morning:

Larisa, Shana, and I were able to attend a retreat for adoptive and foster moms. Since Shana is in college for social work, I thought it would be good for her, too. We had a wonderful time.

Our football player:

We celebrated Adrian's birthday...

Snuggle time:

Quintin is a busy and smart 21-month-old. He sings Jesus Loves Me, Jesus Loves the Little Children, the ABC Song, and I Have Decided to Follow Jesus. He knows tons of words, is starting to speak in full sentences, knows some of the days of the week, can count to three, loves to look at books, and sticks his finger up his nose and asks, "Booger! Where are you?" :-D  Typical boy...

Quintin loves blueberry scones from the bakery at Meijer, and Quintin's daddy loves to spoil him with blueberry scones from the bakery at Meijer... :)

One last shot of a little sleepy-head. Somehow this guy finds his way into our bed at night far too often. Maybe someday I'll be able to catch up on sleep...
