No Longer a Teenager!!!

This girl is amazing. At 19 years old, she graduated summa cum laude with her bachelor's degree and started working on her master's degree. She worked her way through college and didn't have to borrow a dime. She bought her own car, started her first full-time job, and is starting an international business so she can help others change their world. Today she turns 20, and I can't wait to see where God leads her in this decade!

Happy birthday, Shana! We love you so much, and are forever grateful that God chose us to walk through life with you. 💝

February-ish Things...

Our MagicBands for Adrian's senior trip to Disney came! We will be leaving the day after he graduates.

J and J finished up their regular basketball season. They'll be playing in a few tournaments next month.

Valentine's Day!

These two were thrilled when their big sis brought them home some injera and shiro.

We're buried in snow!

Maverick loves the snow.

My cousin Judy spent a weekend with us, and she wanted to try some traditional Ethiopian food. We cooked up a bunch of different dishes, and they were delicious! We had beef tibs, misir wat, doro wat, tikil gomen, shiro and injera.

Our new niece/cousin Emma was born to Andy and Laura!

Florida!

Last week, Chris, Adrian, Malia, Quintin, and I spent the week in Florida with my parents. It was a great week, and we weren't quite ready to head home to massive amounts of snow and frigid temperatures!

We put together a 1000-piece puzzle of the house my parents rent in Florida:

Adrian found lots of shark teeth:

Quintin loved playing catch with the waves. He'd throw his football out into the water, and the waves would bring it back. This kept him entertained all afternoon.
