April started off with a bang...on the first day, our basement flooded due to an unplugged sump pump. We had to rip out and replace the kitchen floor, shampoo the carpet, and launder mountains of blankets, towels, and donation clothing. What a mess.
On April 2, Chris and I headed out to Illinois since I had a speaking engagement. We had a relaxing trip filled with good food and the cutest Airbnb.
We came home April 3 (Good Friday) in time to see Journey: The Story of the Blood play. So good! Then we had a great Easter weekend!

This past Saturday was a perfect day for picking tulips with my girls!
And last but not least, we've been working on TONS of paperwork and adoption classes so we can bring Carv home!
