We had a great time at our favorite little cottage on Budd Lake! Chris's parents joined us for the first half of the week, and Shana, Ashton, and Malia left on Friday to head home so they could meet up with the rest of the Texas mission trip group. We enjoyed a relaxing week of reading good books, boating, fishing, visiting Mackinac Island, eating, go-carting, playing putt-putt golf, taking long walks, watching the wildlife, and getting ice cream at Walraven's, among other things.
It was lilac season on Mackinac, and the flowers were gorgeous!
Chris and the boys enjoyed biking around the island, while the rest of us shopped and ate fudge.
Jordan caught 16 fish one day!
Mr. Q took lots of naps on mommy's lap...
Wonderful memories were made once again in Michigan!
