You Were Never Ours To Keep. You Were Just On Loan.

Yesterday, our little girl got married to the love of her life. It was absolutely beautiful. We sobbed. God is so good. ❤️😭

Lots more pics will be coming soon when we get the professional ones back.

Seven!

This weekend, our oldest child gets married and our youngest has a birthday. 😭❤️ Happy birthday, Quintin! It’s hard to believe our baby is 7 years old already. Would you please slow down a bit?! Love you so much! 🎈🎁🎂

He did not turn 34, thank goodness. I did not have a “7” candle, so he decided to use these since 3+4=7. 😂

An Autumn Hodge-Podge…

We’ve had several days of snow already this fall…

…and we decorated for Christmas early.

You never know what pictures you’ll find on your phone if you leave it unattended and this person is around:

Man-in-the-moon Jalen, just hanging around above Shana’s ceiling after helping to install can lights in her new house:

All this wedding prep has made us tired! It’s wedding week as well as Thanksgiving time and Quintin’s birthday, so we’ve been a little busy!

In other news, Jalen has started basketball season and practices every day. Jordan has opted not to play basketball this year, and instead, started a job at a local dairy. He absolutely loves it, and doesn’t mind the extra money, either. It’s the first time these boys have split up and decided to pursue different pastimes.

Pensacola Beach!

Chris had to go to Pensacola Beach for work, so we decided earlier this fall to take Jalen, Jordan, and Quintin along as a surprise for their birthdays. I was home from the girls’ cruise trip a little under 72 hours…just enough time to fit in a bridal shower, do mountains of laundry, mow the lawn, clean the house, and repack for another trip. We had a great week full of beach time, riding the waves, shopping, and exploring Fort Pickens. Now it’s back to all the reception planning and last-minute wedding stuff!
