Back to School…

 Yesterday was Ashton’s first day as a junior in high school/full-time college student. Have a great year, Ash!

 …for kindergarten! Quintin had kindergarten orientation this morning, and then we enjoyed lunch by the river.

Off to College!

Yesterday, I helped Adrian move into his dorm room at PFW and shop for away-from-home-for-the-first-time essentials. It was an emotional day for sure. We also had a bit of an emergency at home, so I was back and forth to Fort Wayne a few times, but I am thankful we got him settled and that Chris arrived back from his business trip in time to eat dinner with us. Have a great year, Adrian, and come home often! 😭❤️

First Day!

Yesterday was supposed to be Malia, Jalen, and Jordan’s first day of school, but it was cancelled due to fog. Today, they had a 2 hour delay due to fog, but they did get to go. It’s the first day of 7th grade for Jalen and Jordan, and the first day of 10th grade for Malia. Have a great year, everyone! ❤️

Time Marches On, Whether We’re Ready Or Not…

And for Adrian, the packing has commenced. He will be moving to college this Thursday. It’s so hard to believe that the first child will be leaving the nest…times flies by too quickly! Feels like the future came too soon…😭

The Days of Summer Are Winding Down...

 We went on a little vacay with Chris's family to Brown County State Park in southern Indiana. It was a great little getaway to end the summer! The kids start back to school this week!
