Changes...

We went to Illinois to attend Grandma's funeral. We will miss her, but are so thankful she is in a better place. Jalen and Jordan caught these fish at Bill and Heidi's on the morning of the funeral.

My Grandpa Don was just diagnosed with very aggressive cancer, and is now on hospice in his home. The Saturday before he found out, he mentioned that he had never caught a fish but would like to try. He caught this fish in my uncle's pond:

Grandpa doesn't have very much longer on this earth, but is ready to go to his forever Home.

Quintin has been enjoying preschool:

All of my family got together for one last time at my childhood home this past weekend. We had a family auction and divided up bits and pieces of our past, and it was an emotional and bittersweet time. Changes are hard, but a necessary part of life. I'm thankful that Mom and Dad are now at a smaller home with less upkeep, but I will sure miss this place...so many memories inside these walls.

One thing I know for sure...through all of life's changes, God is faithful!

Goodbye For Now...

This beautiful soul went Home last night. We will miss her desperately, but are rejoicing that she is now with Jesus. We love you, Grandma E! Thanks for being such a wonderful example of love, generosity, and patience. You always made us feel so welcome and special, and we can’t wait to see you again. Enjoy your reward! ❤️

Swinging with Quinty:

Last weekend, we moved my mom and dad into their new apartment.

This needed to be documented. Adrian actually asked me to give him a haircut! It was so long that he could pull it back into a ponytail on top.

Jay caught a catfish!

Shana started a new job with Shipt.

Taking a gator ride:

This pencil drawing of four girls in Samre, Ethiopia was donated for our next auction. Isn't it beautiful? Unfortunately, I'm not sure if we'll be able to have an auction this year because of Covid.

Cool dude!

I LOVE sunsets!

Pretty bouquet from the yard:

I'm not sure if I should be more concerned about heads rolling if I eat his cookie or the chance that my child may have multiple personalities:
