A Real Genius...

Quintin took a boogie board and wrote a big Q on it. The Q means “No bugs allowed! Flies, get out of here!” Every time we see a fly, we’re supposed to tell it to go to Quintin, who will then hold up his sign so they will know they’re not welcome. But the Q does NOT stand for “no people allowed,” because that would be bad. And how would we feel if we all thought the sign said that and had to leave?! 🤣

Also, the other day, he was talking to himself and then yelling at himself because he wasn’t listening to himself. 😳

A Wonderful Weekend...

This past weekend, we celebrated Ashton and Zavier! Ashton gave his testimony and was baptized, so David, Larisa, Yikealo, Sintay, Seth, Zavier, Lexie, Drew, Kayden, Tianna, and Tayla came and spent the weekend with us. Yesterday was also Zavi’s 13th birthday! The weekend was full of celebrations and cousin time!

A Birthday! (and some other stuff)...

These two turned 11 yesterday! Happy birthday, Jalen and Jordan! We love you, and hope you have a lot of fun this next year!  

Cousins make the best friends...

Adrian blew out a tire on the way between college classes one day, so Grandma and Aunt Cheryl came to his rescue by bringing him the tools he needed to change it. Since Grandma was along, of course the trip included ice cream for all...😀

It's getting to be the time of year for fires in the fireplace!

Here's a sneak peak of one of the items that will be featured at our orphan care auction in a few weeks. This is a pencil drawing of 3 girls in AGCI's sponsorship program, who we met this summer while we were in Samre, Ethiopia. Isn't it beautiful? The artist captured the 3 girls so well!
