The government's "stay-at-home" or "shelter-in-place" orders for the Covid-19 crisis have us doing online parenting classes for our adoption...
...receiving cute photos of Grandma E. from the nursing home since no one can visit her right now...
...feeling like Sue...
...working from home at a temporary desk...
...doing lots of homework...
...doing lots of adoption paperwork...
...smiling (sometimes)...
...completing lots more paperwork...
...staying in pj's and watching video storytime with Aunt Angie...
...sitting on opposite sides of the ditch so we can talk to our cousins and still stay 6 feet apart...
...baking lots of goodies (and gaining weight)...
...having bonfires so we can get out of the house...
...working on our adoption...
...enjoying some visitors that we found online and invited in...
...singing to our elderly neighbors outside their window since we can't visit anyone right now (yes, we still stood 6 feet apart)...
...wearing masks and feeling very odd when we go out in public (and having to sanitize all of our groceries when we get home from the store)...
...building epic blanket forts in the basement...
...coloring on Sundays while we listen to church over the phone or video conference...
...and trusting in God because we know that He is still in control of this crazy world.
