(He does this when he's begging for something and saying "please." I guess he thinks it's endearing.)
Quintin loves to do math problems, and he's quite good at them at four years old. He's always begging us to "do numbers" with him. The other day, he was eating a bagel for breakfast with butter on one half and cream cheese on the other. He was looking at all the packages and told Shana, "The bagel has 220 calories, the butter has 100 calories, and the cream cheese has 50 calories."
Shana said, "You're right! How many is that altogether?"
"Three hundred and seventy," he answered. Then she asked him how many there would be if she took a bite of the bagel that was worth 20 calories. His answer? 350. Then he said, "And if you take away the whole bagel and only have the butter and cream cheese left, there would be 150 calories."
