We are a family from the Midwest who pursued God's calling to adopt two children from Ethiopia and are currently in the process to adopt a child from Haiti. What started out as a blog to chronicle our adoption journey has morphed into our family scrapbook. Feel free to follow along as we we live our normal everyday lives, trying to serve Jesus and follow His plans for us.
Chris had a conference in Houston, so I went with him. It was nice to relax for a few days and do some recuperating from the wedding and being sick. We stayed downtown, and I was really surprised by how quiet the city was.
