Fun summer drinks…

Malia and Quintin went with Trinity to get her new puppy, Beau:

Jordan and Jesse recently ran the Race to the Moon 5k in Wapakoneta. They shut down the airport, and the runners ran on the lit-up runway. Jordan came in 10th out of 256 people, even after he pulled a muscle in his back the day before! They enjoyed fireworks afterward.

Budd Lake!

 We spent last week up in Michigan at Budd Lake, Birch Run, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Haven, and Frankenmuth. We had a great time, even though the weather was chilly most of the time. 

Jalen and Jordan ran down the 450 foot almost-straight-down sand dune at the Lake Michigan Overlook and back up again in about 15 minutes. They had to have set some kind of a record! There is a sign posted at the top that says if you go down and can't make it back up, there is a $3000 rescue fee, so the rest of us didn't even try. Unfortunately, it was so foggy that those of us who stayed at the top couldn't see the water below.
