Celebrations…

 Jalen was thankful to shoot a large doe about a week or so after Jordan got his buck. That meant lots of meat processing! We were glad that Chad and Nicole volunteered to help us and show the boys the ropes. 

The boys were both honored at the state level for their incredible accomplishments on the football field this year:

Basketball season has started, and Jalen has already won several True Grit awards. Unfortunately, Jordan tore his meniscus during the football season and has to have surgery after Christmas. He will most likely be out for the entire basketball season. 

Quintin finished his Mini Panthers basketball season undefeated, and will continue to play for a traveling team. 

This past weekend, we hosted Christmas for my side of the family. It was a busy weekend with Christmas, Christmas caroling at church, and the boys’ football awards.

Yesterday, we got to celebrate my 29th (ahem) birthday!

A Change of Seasons…

 The boys have been hunting quite a bit, and Jordan shot a buck! 

We spent Thanksgiving with Daniel and Shana at Gateway Woods, and this is the only photo I took: 

The boys have started their basketball season, though Jordan hasn’t played yet due to a lingering knee injury from football. He’s supposed to have an MRI in a few days. 

I don’t care for the cold, but the snow has been beautiful!
