The Panthers finished an amazing basketball season last night. They were GMC champions, sectional champions, and district runners-up. They dominated Genoa for the first 3 quarters last night, then lost by 5 at the end of the game. Way to challenge an undefeated team, boys! Here are some pictures from the final few games:
Jordan was named Player of the Game by 3 different media outlets in the sectional final game. Not bad for a guy who just started playing for the first time this season a few weeks ago after surgery!
We celebrated Shana's birthday with 2 different parties:
Chris and I took Malia to Chicago so she could head to Europe for 2 weeks to visit Elli, who is studying abroad this semester. After a cancelled flight, an overnight with us near the airport, a wonderful breakfast, and a fun shopping trip, we tried again and dropped her off at the airport again the next day. She's having a blast, has visited Luxembourg, England, France, Belgium, and Portugal, and will head home in a few days. It will be good to have her home again!
