It’s a ONEderful World!

Last Friday, we had Shiloh’s first birthday party in our barn. It’s so hard to believe she’s one already! She loved all the attention and gifts. ❤️

As of Late…

 Some of our family members chipped in to buy a new metal roof for one of our friends and his family who live in the trash dump in Ethiopia. Thankful that our friends are no longer getting wet when it rains! Here is a picture of the new roof, followed by a picture of their previous plastic tarp roof:

 Cute pics of Shi-Shi! She LOVES to be outside, and is especially enamored with the trampoline, wind chimes, and dog.

We recently were a part of Secret Church 2025 at Daniel and Shana’s house. It was really neat! It lasted from 7 pm until 1:30 or so in the morning, and we studied the book of Matthew and learned about and prayed for the unreached people in Indonesia. At about midnight, there was a loud banging on the door and we were all “arrested” for holding an “unauthorized religious gathering.” We were given “tickets” and fines. We learned a lot about the persecuted church and I’m already looking forward to next year’s Secret Church.

Shiloh got to celebrate Easter for the first time! 

I’m enjoying all the lovely spring flowers and warmer temperatures.

The Windy City…

 Last Thursday, Chris had to go to Chicago for work. Jalen, Jordan, and I went along, and enjoyed a couple days of fancy hotels, lots of shopping, and a trip to the top of the Willis Tower.
