A Sweet Letter and Amazing Donations!

Chris is on a business trip in Canada this week, and last night Adrian presented him with an adorable little note to take with him on his trip. It said, "I love you, Dad! Stay safe. God is always with you and so am I. Love, Adrian." It was so sweet! Chris put it in a safe place in his suitcase, and I'm sure he'll get it out and look at it several times this week.

The Sunday School students at our church have been collecting items to donate to Hannah's Hope (our agency's transition home over in Ethiopia). We will take the donations with us when we travel to Africa. I have been so amazed and humbled at the amount of items we have received so far!

We have received diapers (both cloth and disposable), wipes, formula, rice cereal, toys, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, shoes, clothing, lots of bibs, sheets, towels, boxes of tissues, various shampoos, lotions, ointments, slippers, hand sanitizer, the list goes on and on! THANK YOU to all of you who have donated these wonderful goodies! Many children will be blessed because of your support! May God richly bless each one of you for your kindness.

"Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." Matthew 25:40.

Have a wonderful Monday, everyone!

  1. SO awesome to see SO many donations! One of the sweetest gifts in the adoption journey is the love and support from others that is poured out as God's heart for the orphan is exposed. Love seeing hearts connect to care.
