December Happenings...

I have been doing lots of volunteer work at school. I have also visited the kids in their classrooms for family reading day and the 4th grade chocolate tour. 

We have had lots of friends over to play and spend the night.

We have made lots of Christmas cookies and candies.

 We learned that Jalen and Jordan are color-blind, and Jordan has to get glasses to correct his farsightedness. He also has a bit of a problem with his eyes turning inward. He had lots of fun trying on glasses and deciding which ones to get. He settled on a bright green, blue, and brown pair that look really cute on him. Below is one of the samples.

I had another birthday! Chris surprised me by taking the day off work so we could spend it together. I also received this card from one of my Sunday School students. :)

I've been doing some babysitting, and had a lot of fun with Mr. Cuteness below:

It has also been a month full of shopping, Christmas caroling, decorating, baking, and wrapping presents. Our Christmas celebrations begin tomorrow! (Well, actually, later today as it's already after midnight. Better get to bed...)
