We received this adorable note from Quintin:
We celebrated Ethiopian Christmas on January 7, and had injera and shiro for supper.
We’ve been enjoying lots of fires in the fireplace. One day, it looked like a fire-breathing dragon had joined us!
Wass sent us this photo that he took with one of our sponsored children. ❤️
Beauty in the skies:
Snuggling with a tired Q:
In other news, Adrian moved to an apartment in Fort Wayne and started a new job at WaterFurnace, and we’ve been busy working on the barn again. Shana’s large shipment of aloe that she imported from Ethiopia got lost somewhere, and the shipping company delivered someone else’s order to her instead. It is very frustrating that these girls have worked so hard to get to this point, only to lose a bunch of money on a large shipment that they needed ASAP. Of course, everyone is trying to blame someone else for it, and the girls are left with the burden. Also, because of Covid, our home study update has been very delayed, and we are quickly approaching the expiration date for our USCIS approval. We have been through sickness and several stressful situations and relationship issues lately. Satan is sure trying to mess things up, and 2022 has had a rough start, but OUR GOD IS GREATER! We will cling to His promises and truth, because He is good and His mercies endure forever. Praising Him in the midst of the storm!
