On February 18, Chris, Malia, Quintin, and I began the long drive to Florida, where we spent a little over a week visiting my parents, going to Walt Disney World, and attending the TNB board meeting and annual gala. Shana flew down and joined us for the 2nd weekend we were there, which just happened to be her birthday weekend. We had a fabulous week of sunshine and warm temperatures, and are so grateful to my amazing parents for their kind hospitality! Here is a bit of a picture overload from our trip.
You can tell you're from the flattest place on earth when you get this excited about the mountains in Kentucky and Tennessee:
The first day at Disney, we resort-hopped, rode the Skyliner and Monorail, and visited Disney Springs.
The first resort we visited was Port Orleans - French Quarter, where we enjoyed gumbo and Mickey beignets.

We found lots of shark teeth, stingray spines, and intact coquina shells on the beach.
We enjoyed a delightful seafood meal at the Left Coast.
