A hot air balloon came to visit us one morning. We’ve never had one so close to our house before. It landed briefly in the field by our house before taking off again.
Daniel came to visit us last Thursday evening, and brought 3 big bouquets of flowers: one for Shana, one for Malia, and one for me. 💖
Friday night, we took the kids to Chillicothe to see the Tecumseh outdoor drama:
Saturday, Daniel and Darci were here, and we called some of our Ethiopian friends to tell them about Daniel and Shana's engagement:
Sunday, Shana and Daniel announced their engagement, and we had his family over for dinner and the evening. We were also thankful that David and Larisa came out for church in the morning to be with us for Shana's special day!
Whew! It was a very busy weekend, and this fall will be even busier, but I am thankful that we can trust it all to the One who paints the sky beautiful and holds the whole world in His hands. 💕
