Are We Willing? Are We Ready?

Comfort ye, Comfort ye my people, saith your God. (Isaiah 40:1)

Let mine outcasts dwell with thee. (Isaiah 16:4)

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. (James 1:27)

Inasmuch as ye have done it unto the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. (Matthew 25:40)

If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works? (Proverbs 24:12)

Are we willing to reach out to God's precious children - the orphans for whom He has a special love? To be the hands and feet of Jesus to the needy? To go beyond our safe little lives and safe little homes and do hard things? To make a difference and be a light in this dark and sinful world? ARE WE READY?

For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. (Isaiah 41:13)
