Raindrops and Fuzz Balls

I walked outside yesterday morning after the rain and noticed how beautiful the plants looked with water droplets on them. It reminded me of these verses in Lamentations: "It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."

And yesterday afternoon, we got 30 one-day-old chicks delivered to our house! Shana has been wanting to raise some chickens for quite some time, so her daddy helped her get a place ready for them. They are cute little balls of fuzz!

The chicks are broilers, and will be ready for butchering at the beginning of December. If anyone around here is interested in any, Shana is taking orders! I think 10 are already spoken for.

Have a great day!

  1. Oh my, don't tell my husband - he wants to raise chickens too! Too bad we live in the city. :)

How far will Shana deliver the butchered chickens? If she'll head our way we'll take one!
