Yellowstone! This national park is so beautiful and diverse, and several times I found myself thinking that surely we must be on another planet. After all...boiling mud pits? Beautiful rainbow-colored, bubbling hot "paint pots?" Geysers and steam and the smell of sulfur everywhere? Oh yes, and mountains and plains and lakes and rivers and flowers and plenteous wildlife...definitely different than the scenery we're used to!
