Field Trip and Track and Field

 I chaperoned Quintin’s class field trip to The Imagination Station in Toledo: 

Jalen and Jordan’s team had a VERY strong track season. They won almost every meet, and last night they won the GMC championship out of 8 schools. J and J placed first in most of their events all season, and Jalen smashed the school high jump record twice. He’s currently ranked 3rd in the state for high jump.

Jordan really improved his long jump over the season, too, and came in first place last night with a jump over 18 feet long. 

Great job, boys! 

In other news, please say a prayer for Quintin’s best friend, Cameron. He was diagnosed with Leukemia this week, and will start aggressive chemotherapy tomorrow. May God be with the doctors, the family, and sweet little Cameron as they battle this disease!
