We are a family from the Midwest who pursued God's calling to adopt two children from Ethiopia and are currently in the process to adopt a child from Haiti. What started out as a blog to chronicle our adoption journey has morphed into our family scrapbook. Yesterday was Mother’s Day, and my kids effectively spoiled me. Daniel, Shana, and Malia made me a charcuterie-style breakfast, complete with virgin Mom-osas. And I received lots of flowers, mugs, chocolates, candles, a blanket, and a t-shirt that says, “CEO of the house.” ❤️ We had my parents, Doug and Bonny, and Chet and Amanda over for dinner and the evening.
