We finished off the night with funnel cake, popcorn and hot chocolate, as usual. We had so much fun, and Jalen and Jordan are ready to go back again next year! They keep saying, "Chao, elephant! Na Bahala!" (Bye, elephant! We'll come again later!)

The Lights Before Christmas.....
One of our family traditions during the month of December is to visit The Lights Before Christmas at our zoo. This year was no exception, and Jalen and Jordan got to experience it with us for the first time. They loved all the lights, and kept repeating, "Konjo!" over and over, which means "Beautiful!" Their favorite part of the night was getting to see the elephant. They could talk of nothing else afterward.
