In Their Element.....

Last week, we enjoyed authentic Ethiopian food for the first time since we brought Jalen and Jordan home from Ethiopia. The boys were thrilled when we told them that we were going to be eating injera. When we entered the restaurant, the workers were so excited to see the twins, and knew right away that they were from Gambela. One of the ladies started speaking in Amharic, and Jalen understood what she asked and was able to answer her. Jordan didn't understand her, though, which I thought was interesting. It really is amazing how quickly they have learned English!

The boys even got to show us some of their Ethiopian dance moves!
