Chris and I decided quite awhile ago that we would take each of our children on a trip for their high school graduation gift. Close to a year ago, we booked Shana's senior trip, a Southern Caribbean cruise, which coincided with her spring break from college. Saturday, March 2, we dropped off the other kids at Chris's parents' house and headed to Chicago, where we stayed overnight at a Park-n-Fly hotel. Early the next morning, we drove to the airport, where we boarded a plane for Puerto Rico. Upon arrival in San Juan, we caught our transfer to the pier and boarded Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas for a wonderful week of sun, sea, sand, and sights.
