2. Apparently, Chris and I just need to drink more coffee in order to become "dark chocolate" like the twins. Jordan matter-of-factly informed Chris of this the other morning. Who knew?
3. Jalen was already sleeping for the night, but Jordan couldn't seem to doze off. Chris brought him into our bedroom to snuggle a little bit, and asked him if he wanted to sleep in our room. His response? "No, because then Jalen will be by self!" He didn't want to leave his brother alone - I love how my boys look after each other.....
4. The other morning, out of the blue, Jordan looked at Chris and said, "Daddy, I'm happy!" My heart just melted into a little puddle. In the last photos that we have of the boys with their birth mom, Jordan looks so happy and content. You can just see it in his eyes. It took awhile for that sparkle to come back, but we're definitely seeing it again. These little guys have been through so much in their short lives, but it is so amazing to witness the redemption that takes place through adoption.
And that's all for now! Have a great day!
