Today we visited Unity Park, located within the National Palace grounds. It features restored imperial buildings, museums, gardens, a zoo, and pavilions showcasing the regions of Ethiopia. Genet and Tarikua met us there while we were having lunch, and soon after, Bissy picked up Chris and Malia at the airport from their trip to Dessie and Kombolcha and brought them to meet us. We had dinner at Chanoly with Tesfaye and Bissy, and Mathewos and Helen were at the guest house to meet us when we returned.
I have always hated this nearby building. I mean, what in the world? Why tip it like that, and the windows aren't even parallel! It makes my OCD come out.
