We headed to the SIM compound this morning. While Chris had a meeting, the rest of us helped Malia move into her apartment. Tarikua, Hiwet, and Muna joined us, and we even got to see Susanna! She will be helping Malia get acclimated for the next couple weeks. Then we went shopping to buy leather and jerseys and followed it with lunch at Chanoly. Back at the guest house, we packed up everything, spent time with friends, and said our goodbyes. Fikadu brought gifts for Chris and me. We took Malia back to her new space on the way to the airport, and we hung out in her room for a bit and had a prayer. I had to say goodbye to my baby girl and leave her behind in a foreign country for the next month and a half. But I'm so proud of her and I know Jesus will be with her. Bissy took us to the airport, where we checked in, ate at Burger King/Pizza Hut, and boarded our flight back to Chicago.
