We are a family from the Midwest who pursued God's calling to adopt two children from Ethiopia and are currently in the process to adopt a child from Haiti. What started out as a blog to chronicle our adoption journey has morphed into our family scrapbook. Feel free to follow along as we we live our normal everyday lives, trying to serve Jesus and follow His plans for us.
This girl is no longer a teenager and is celebrating her birthday half a world away in Ethiopia. HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY, MALIA! I wish we could celebrate with you, but know that we adore you and are cheering you on from the other side. You have been a bright, happy light in our lives from day one, and we thank God for you!
