A couple weeks ago, we headed back to Ethiopia where our main purposes were taking Jalen, Jordan, and Sintay back to visit their birth families in Gambella and helping Malia settle into her 2-month internship/home in Addis Ababa for the summer. We appreciate everyone who prayed for us as we experienced an emotional week of reunions and stepping outside of our comfort zones. Our travel group consisted of Chris, myself, Ashton, Malia, Jalen, Jordan, Quintin, Larisa, and Sintay. We flew out of Chicago on June 3 and returned on June 11. The next few posts will summarize our trip.
