After services at the International Evangelical Church (IEC) and lunch at Sishu where we enjoyed our burgers and fries, we flew to Gambella with some of the Kibir team. We were met at the airport by Jalen, Jordan, and Sintay's birth families, and walked out the door into their embraces. What a sweet reunion! We drove to town and settled into our rooms at the Metadel Hotel, then enjoyed a traditional dinner and celebration at the home of Sintay's birth family. Quintin even participated in the dancing! Okello came back to the hotel with us and spent the night with the twins. I am humbled that the boys' birth mom trusts us so much with her children. We are all overwhelmed by God's goodness.
Jalen was a bit concerned because one of the airplane propellers wasn't turning:
