The bus came a bit early this morning, so I sent the boys to school in a rush with a quick hug goodbye as they raced out the door. I finished packing, took the boys’ stuff to Chris’s parents’ house, and then Jon and Ben came to our house around noon. Malia, Ashton, Jon, Ben, and I climbed in the van and drove to Fort Wayne, where we picked up Chris at work and Adrian at his apartment. Then, it was on to Chicago! We visited Navy Pier, checked into our park-n-fly hotel, and ordered Giordano’s Pizza. Malia and the boys went swimming for awhile and I read my book before we ate dinner and headed to bed.
